3D Car Modeller

Team Bondi is an independent game development company based in Sydney, Australia. Headed up by Brendan McNamara and featuring a team of seasoned games professionals, Team Bondi will produce next-generation console titles.

We are looking for a talented 3D Car Modeler to join our Art Team to work on an upcoming next generation console titles.

Required Experience

  • Minimum 1 year experience in Games or Post Production;
  • Demonstrate techniques in modeling for both low poly and subdivision;
  • Experience in modeling vehicles or machines;
  • Creation of textures;
  • Demonstrate an understanding of shaders;
  • Ability to work in a creative and collaborative environment;
  • A passion for creating and playing video games.

Required Qualification

  • A recognised art qualification;
  • Technical ability in the games industry, production or feature film;
  • Good knowledge of modeling and texturing;
  • High quality reel.

Required Skills

  • Knowledge in Maya or Max and Photoshop;
  • A good eye for detail and quality;
  • Complete assigned tasks within allocated time;
  • Work and liaise with other department/colleagues where required to complete and/or resolve Art tasks;
  • Research and reference collation, including on-site photo-shoot locally and/or abroad where required;
  • Perform software or tool application evaluation task where required;
  • Maintain strong communication link with the rest of the Art team on operational issues;
  • Assist in familiarising new Artists to the Art production pipelines;
  • Participate in postmortems and other reviews to identify problems and potential solutions;
  • A passion for cars would help;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
